A graphic designer for 12+ years and artist, Karlei Dei Ayers is known for her sophisticated, elegant design and client-focused solutions. She works in a wide range of media, from digital design to consumer packaging to branding and graphic identity packages. A lover of color, her illustration and artwork reflects vibrant bursts of color with an emphasis on capturing the depth of the subject and the light that surrounds it. Naturally curious, Karlei very much enjoys the process of getting to know a client and realize their design and brand needs as a team. She sees the final productions as a reflection of her client’s vision, and works hard to perfect that representation of their brand. With a focus on keeping things light and easy, her style is to ask questions, hear your goals and dreams, and then craft the ideal visual interpretation. Karlei’s light and fun approach is reflected in her work as well as the wide range of her capabilities to capture the client’s style. A Washington native, Karlei has lived in the Tacoma area for almost 15 years. She attended the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo majoring in Fine Art and Design and began her career as a graphic designer at Dillanos Coffee Roasters for many years before becoming a freelance designer full-time.
A mother of two young children, Karlei enjoys camping, hiking and other outdoor activities with her family.
